May 14, 2013 – Gallatin-based WideBand Corporation announced plans to build a 6,000 square-foot addition to its Grand Street location. The new facility will provide additional manufacturing and warehousing space for WideBand’s computer and networking products.
“We are excited to be expanding here,” said WideBand president, Joseph Billings. “We would like to thank the City of Gallatin, Daviess County Commission, and the whole community for their support that helped make this possible.”
WideBand designs and manufactures high performance computer network equipment for government, education, and corporate customers. Currently, WideBand is also under contract to develop low latency networking products for the US Army.
Site work on the addition has already begun. The cement floor was poured last week. WideBand expects the building to be completed this summer.
