March 19, 2002 – Washington, D.C. — WideBand Corp will demonstrate its innovative, Made in America Gigabit Ethernet products that operate over standard Cat 5 cable at FOSE 2002, the most comprehensive technology show serving the government market, March 19-21, Booth #434.
The demonstration will illustrate WideBand’s product performance even in adverse conditions by showing its Gigabit equipment transmitting data over 600 feet of Cat 5 cable, over 100 meters of Cat 3 cable, and even over barbed wire. The demo will underscore the “headroom” in the design of the WideBand products – headroom that translates into more reliable and robust network installations.
